Senior Mechanical Engineer – Electric Motorcycle Design

About the role

Pixii Motors is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and industrialisation of its flagship electric motorcycle, Shadow, and future mobility products. You will ensure structural integrity, performance, and scalability while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and validation of frames, body kits, swingarms, enclosures, and transmission components.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to move designs from prototype to production.
• Work closely with electronics, embedded systems, and industrial design teams for system integration.
• Perform finite element analysis, thermal simulations, and tolerance studies to verify safety, performance and durability.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, testing protocols and best practices.
• Manage supplier, manufacturer and prototyping partner relationships to meet quality and schedule targets.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement in reliability, cost optimisation and manufacturing scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of product design and development experience, preferably in automotive, motorcycle or mobility sectors.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities for cross‑functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment.
• Passion for clean mobility and sustainable transportation.

Required skills

• SolidWorks, CATIA or equivalent CAD tools.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and thermal simulation.
• Tolerance analysis and materials selection.
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) expertise.
• Machining, welding, casting, injection molding and composites processes.
• Product validation and testing (vibration, fatigue, environmental).
