Senior Lead Expert – Plant Readiness

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Senior Lead Expert to drive plant readiness across its global network. You will assess, prepare, and execute production transfers, ensuring alignment with strategic footprint plans and delivering measurable bottom‑line improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct maturity assessments for industrialisation or de‑industrialisation projects at plant level.
• Prepare plants to take over product volumes or projects from sister sites, respecting timelines, milestones and budgets.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance Plant Readiness structures and service capabilities.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify risks, implement sustainable improvements and manage urgent operational situations.
• Design and coordinate global initiatives such as line balancing, shop‑floor management and Run@Rate studies.
• Resolve customer complaints using data‑driven analysis and performance metrics.
• Report regularly on implementation status, milestones and risks.

Required profile

• University degree with at least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in manufacturing transformation, industrialisation, production transfers or operational excellence.
• Proven experience in Tier‑1 automotive environments, including green‑field, brown‑field and production restructuring projects.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work in dynamic or critical operational situations.
