Senior KPO/Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Senior KPO/Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead and support lean initiatives across its manufacturing site in Megrine, Ben Arous. The role focuses on applying Kaizen tools and methodologies to improve part flow, information exchange, and worker safety while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and eliminate waste in manufacturing processes to enable one‑piece flow.
• Develop and implement lean tools such as 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, mistake‑proofing, quick‑change fixturing, and hands‑free loading/unloading.
• Support and document Kaizen events, providing technical expertise for problem‑solving.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan, execute, and review continuous‑improvement projects.
• Manage projects from concept through implementation and post‑project review.
• Travel to other Pursuit sites to lead or participate in Kaizen workshops.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with proven success in Kaizen and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of mechanical components, machine design, and building processes.

Required skills

• Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D‑printing software such as Bambu Studio.
• Experience with lean tools: 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
