Senior Consultant – Government & Public Sector

About the role

EY is expanding its Government & Public Sector (GPS) practice and seeks a highly motivated Senior Consultant to help build teams and capture market opportunities. You will work with senior decision‑makers across ministries, municipalities and public institutions to drive large‑scale transformations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new client engagements while managing existing relationships.
• Lead business development pursuits and contribute to the growth of GPS consulting services.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise and project‑management oversight on transformation initiatives.
• Deliver high‑quality deliverables that create value for EY clients.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants to enhance their technical and consulting skills.
• Participate in the creation of innovative, inclusive, and team‑oriented work environments.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Marketing or related field; Master’s or MBA in Public Administration is a plus.
• 4‑6 years of experience in the public sector, including 1‑2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of delivering impact on major sector transformation initiatives.
• Strong business acumen, commercial mindset and ability to cultivate long‑term client relationships.
• Forward‑thinking, self‑motivated and adaptable to new challenges.
