Senior Accountant – Tunisia

About the role

Vantive is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Tunisia. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and supporting cross‑functional teams with financial insights. The ideal candidate works independently, collaborates across departments, and drives continuous improvement in accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements for two Tunisian legal entities in line with local accounting system and GAAP.
• Coordinate and lead the annual statutory audit, acting as the primary contact for auditors.
• Ensure compliance with all fiscal, social, and legal reporting requirements under Tunisian regulations.
• Provide financial analysis, insights, and ad‑hoc reporting to support cross‑functional initiatives.
• Manage bank and cash reconciliations, guaranteeing timely and accurate follow‑up.
• Oversee travel advances and employee expense management.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to process‑improvement projects.
• Support the manufacturing controller with manufacturing accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Required profile

• Strong technical accounting expertise with thorough knowledge of Tunisian regulations and local GAAP.
• Proven experience leading statutory audits and managing auditor relationships.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
