Segment Leader

About the role

The Segment Leader will drive the performance of a dedicated segment within LEONI’s automotive wiring business. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure that the segment meets its strategic objectives, KPIs and governance standards while fostering continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the segment unit according to defined objectives and KPIs.
• Identify improvement opportunities, provide consulting, and enhance service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to standards, governance, and process execution.
• Lead direct reports, define team objectives, tasks and responsibilities.
• Plan regular team activities to cover all stages of work and respond to incoming requests.
• Identify training and development needs, support professional growth and knowledge application.
• Propose and implement measures to improve team performance, flexibility, diversity, succession planning, coaching, change management and personal growth.

Required profile

• University degree in a technical discipline (mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, quality, supply chain, management, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the wiring industry; leadership experience highly valued.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong communication, intercultural sensitivity, change‑management and result‑orientation.
• Ability to organize work, resolve conflicts and collaborate effectively in a team.
