SAP Basis Consultant – System Installation & Support

About the role

Free2move is looking for an SAP Basis Consultant to join its fast‑growing mobility platform. You will be responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining SAP S/4HANA environments that support the company’s global services.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure SAP S/4HANA systems and related components.
• Set up and maintain development, quality assurance and production landscapes.
• Monitor system performance, perform health checks and apply optimisations.
• Apply SAP patches, upgrades and manage backup & recovery procedures.
• Create and manage user accounts, authorisations and enforce security policies.
• Handle transport management, configure routes and ensure configuration consistency.
• Analyse performance bottlenecks and implement tuning measures.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing support to users and IT teams.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Collaborate with functional teams, developers and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of SAP Basis and SAP S/4HANA landscape management.
• Experience with system installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance.
• Ability to monitor performance, apply patches and manage backups.
• Familiarity with user security, authorisations and transport management.
• Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
