Regulatory Knowledge Associate – GMA

About the role

This position offers the opportunity to drive regulatory and compliance expertise across multiple technical domains, supporting customers in meeting global sustainability, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Produce comprehensive research reports on international regulations such as Electrical Safety, EMC, Energy Efficiency, Noise Emission, Water Efficiency, and Accessibility.
• Provide point‑of‑access support for local acceptance issues under supervision.
• Coordinate multi‑product, multi‑country regulatory studies and may own specific geographic areas or regulations.
• Collaborate with industry partners and internal teams to develop GMA knowledge services and customized compliance solutions.
• Track business expansion opportunities, maintain regulatory databases, and supervise delivery of high‑quality knowledge services.
• Adhere to UL’s Code of Conduct and security practices.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, International Relations, or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and research abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of international standards and regulations (IEC, EN, UL).
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and compliance requirements.
