Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and ensure the highest level of quality for web, mobile, and API based applications. The role involves hands‑on manual testing, API validation, and close collaboration with development and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and functional requirements to create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform manual functional, regression, integration, system and UAT testing for web, mobile and enterprise applications.
• Execute API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger, validating requests, responses, authentication and error handling.
• Log, track and verify defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar defect‑management tools.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning and release activities.
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
• Support production validation and post‑release testing activities.

Required profile

• Strong experience in manual testing and API testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Ability to write clear test cases, test plans and execution reports.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
