Project Manager – New Product Introduction

About the role

The Project Manager will lead new product introduction (NPI) initiatives, ensuring that products are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Acting as the NPI Engineering Team Leader, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams, align with customer requirements, and oversee the transition from development to full‑scale production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive NPI project launch plans, milestones, and master production schedules.
• Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOM) and manufacturing process flows for assigned products.
• Secure stage‑gate approvals and manage the handover of projects to production.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams in process planning, tooling design, and manufacturing routine development.
• Review and approve tooling requests, designs, and inspection methods.
• Produce and maintain process instruction sheets, routings, and rework documentation.
• Specify and procure capital equipment required for new product development.
• Monitor critical dimension metrics and drive continuous improvement through Kaizen activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment as a Project Manager or NPI Lead.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Project, and standard MS Office applications.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, shop mathematics, and inspection methods.
