About the role

The Groupe Scolaire René Descartes, a leading French international school in Grand Tunis, is seeking a qualified Physics‑Chemistry teacher to join its secondary‑level faculty for the 2025 school year.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Physics‑Chemistry lessons in accordance with the French national curriculum.
• Manage classroom dynamics to promote active student participation and safe laboratory practices.
• Integrate digital teaching tools and TICE resources to enhance experimental learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.

Required profile

• Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Physics‑Chemistry.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience in Physics‑Chemistry, preferably at the high‑school level.
• Fluent French with a C2 proficiency level.

Required skills

• Strong classroom organization and management abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of the French secondary science curriculum.
• Proficiency with digital educational tools and information‑communication technologies for teaching (TICE).
