About the role

The Groupe Scolaire René Descartes, a French‑curriculum school in Grand Tunis, is seeking a qualified Physics‑Chemistry teacher to join its secondary education team for the 2025 academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Physics and Chemistry lessons in accordance with the French national curriculum.
• Manage classroom dynamics to encourage active student participation and inquiry.
• Integrate digital teaching tools and educational technologies into laboratory and theoretical sessions.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers across subjects and cultural backgrounds to enhance interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to school reporting.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) in Physics‑Chemistry.
• Fluent French at C2 level.
• Minimum five years of experience teaching Physics‑Chemistry at the secondary level, preferably in a lycée setting.
• Strong organizational abilities and a collaborative mindset.
