Production Technician

About the role

CROWN Maghreb Can is looking for a highly motivated Production Technician to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment for metal packaging products. The role focuses on ensuring efficient production flow, high quality standards, and safe workplace practices.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor presses, forming machines, and conveyor systems while following safety protocols.
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs to minimise downtime.
• Conduct visual quality checks and use measuring tools to verify product specifications.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Complete production logs, quality documentation, and maintain a clean 5S‑compliant work area.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in industrial mechanics or electrical technology is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and control panels.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
