Production Supervisor

About the role

COFICAB, a global leader in wire and cable manufacturing for the automotive sector, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead scheduling activities, monitor program execution, and support the shop‑floor team in solving production issues.

Key responsibilities

• Implement organization, policies, processes, procedures, visual aids and cross‑functional improvement projects in line with corporate standards.
• Monitor daily program progress and adjust schedules to ensure semi‑finished goods availability, optimal time, quality results and efficient consumption of raw materials and tools.
• Collect and review production data, check process parameters, changeover results, wire breaks, over‑consumption, control‑plan outcomes and scrap levels.
• Identify parameter discrepancies and deploy fast problem‑solving techniques to implement immediate corrective actions.
• Work closely with the production execution team on the shop floor to diagnose issues (repair, wire break, copper over‑consumption, 5S organization) and support the deployment of corrective actions.
• Participate in the development of terms of reference for new technical equipment and tools, and perform technical validation of acquired assets.
• Review KPIs and propose continuous‑improvement plans for processes, procedures and systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supervising production activities in an industrial environment.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret production data and identify root causes.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
