Product Support – Fund Accounting

About the role

Linedata is looking for a Product Support professional to join its Fund Accounting team. You will work directly with clients to maintain accurate accounting records for hedge funds and private equity vehicles, ensuring compliance with international reporting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records for assigned funds and perform trade, cash, and position reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP, and meet other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Review portfolio pricing, analyse exceptions, and support monthly/quarter‑end reporting against fund administrators.
• Book capital activities, trading and non‑trading accruals, and other fees in client accounting ledgers.
• Reconcile client ledgers with fund administrators, identify differences, and resolve queries.
• Communicate daily estimates, NAVs, and reporting updates to clients, ensuring timeliness and compliance.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of fund accounting principles for hedge funds or private equity.
• Experience preparing financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate pricing and reconciliation discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and query resolution.
