Process & Manufacturing Automation Engineer

About the role

The Process & Manufacturing Automation Engineer will lead the industrialization of new production lines, improve machine and labor efficiency, and ensure the transfer of know‑how across the site. The role combines equipment introduction, validation, and continuous improvement in a high‑mix automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead industrialization of new P1 projects and drive production efficiency.
• Manage equipment introduction using IPROM and coordinate with suppliers.
• Design small tools, validate supplier proposals, and define acceptance criteria.
• Conduct pre‑acceptance, acceptance tests, and trial runs; produce detailed reports.
• Develop and execute process validation plans, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Monitor QCDM, propose improvements, and reduce cycle times.
• Update routing in the information system with SPV validation.
• Support production technicians through training, analysis, and problem‑solving.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environment, and 5S standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrialization and equipment validation.
• Ability to lead Lean design workshops and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong collaboration skills with suppliers and internal teams.
