Process Engineer

About the role

Lear Corporation is seeking a Process Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in our plant. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient production flow, high quality tooling, and compliance with engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define, install, and release manufacturing processes while conducting PFMEA analysis.
• Plan and execute production line transfers and new project launches.
• Lead engineering changes with minimal investment and aim for zero obsolescence.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions and conduct method‑time studies.
• Manage Process FMEA using APiS software and oversee CAD data and pattern control.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure cutting dies meet specifications.
• Update plant layout drawings in AutoCAD and ensure compliance with Lear procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English.
• Solid experience with PFMEA analysis.

Required skills

• Proficiency in PFMEA analysis.
• Advanced use of MS Office suite.
• AutoCAD for plant layout and design.
• Experience with APiS software for Process FMEA.
• Method and time study techniques.
• CAD data handling and pattern control.
