Press and CNC Setter

About the role

The Press and CNC Setter is responsible for producing parts that meet customer specifications by operating and adjusting presses and CNC machines. The role ensures compliance with quality control procedures and contributes to continuous improvement of tooling and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust welding heads and set up presses and CNC machines.
• Interpret technical drawings and ensure correct machine parameters.
• Maintain and improve existing tooling.
• Follow quality control procedures and report non‑conformities.
• Use the PDCS data collection system for production tracking.
• Teach beginners or apprentices as needed.
• Provide technical support to team members.
• Participate in handling non‑conforming products.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree, BTS or BTP in Mechanical or Electromechanical engineering.
• Motivated, flexible and eager to learn best practices.
• Strong initiative, positive attitude and good organizational skills.
• Comfortable working independently or within a team.

Required skills

• High‑level mastery of CNC machine operation.
• Experience with Bihler and MISK press settings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency with PDCS data collection system.
