Part‑time IT Support Technician – Sfax

About the role

Softmix is seeking a part‑time Information Technology Support Technician to join its team in Sfax, Tunisia. The technician will provide first‑line technical assistance to end‑users, ensuring that desktop computers, printers and related equipment remain operational and support business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver prompt technical support to end‑users, minimizing downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops and peripherals.
• Repair, maintain and replace components in computers and printers.
• Assist with setup, configuration and troubleshooting of new IT hardware.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory and ensure proper functioning of all devices.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in desktop computer support and printer maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in French (very good) and English (above average).
• Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
