Operations (Post-Trade) Consultant

About the role

Murex is seeking an Operations (Post-Trade) Consultant to join its Client Services EMEA – Operations team. You will support European clients in using and configuring the Murex platform, ensuring smooth back‑office operations such as collateral, settlements, regulatory reporting and lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert incident resolution, configuration assistance, and implementation support for the Murex platform.
• Collaborate with internal product and development teams to deliver fixes, new features, and modernization projects.
• Participate in migration, module implementation, design, configuration and validation activities.
• Deliver internal and external training sessions and continuously improve documentation.
• Act as a trusted advisor by presenting platform evolutions, reporting activities and contributing to client governance strategies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a top‑tier engineering school or university with a focus on financial markets or applied mathematics.
• Strong interest in IT and software development.
• Excellent analytical abilities and a structured problem‑solving approach.
• Client‑oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multicultural, and international environment.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel across Europe.
