NPI Engineer – New Product Introduction

About the role

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an NPI Engineer to lead the introduction of new aircraft engine components. You will create and manage the documentation, processes, and validation activities required to bring new products from concept to production while ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement new product introductions by creating work instructions, procedures, and process documents.
• Manage the full APQP cycle, including feasibility assessment, package preparation, iterations, production preparation, readiness review, and production run.
• Validate new and existing manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements.
• Investigate and resolve process‑related issues, proposing corrective actions.
• Support shop‑floor training on iteration steps and production runs.
• Implement new product and manufacturing packages in the ERP system.
• Participate in product disposition meetings for non‑conforming items.
• Drive continuous‑improvement, cost‑saving, Kaizen, and EHS initiatives.
• Provide technical support for equipment validation and qualification.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Material Science, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and tooling specifications.
• 2–3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficient English communication skills.
