Mechanical Engineer

About the role

SEGULA Technologies, a global engineering group active in automotive, aerospace, energy, rail, naval, life sciences and telecoms, is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for an on-site position in Tunisia. The engineer supports the design, analysis and improvement of mechanical components and systems for industrial projects, working in multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and update 3D models and technical drawings
• Assist in mechanical calculations
• Collaborate with senior engineers on design reviews
• Take part in research and development tasks
• Prepare documentation and reports
• Contribute to project coordination and follow-up

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
• Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles applied to industrial projects
• Ability to communicate clearly and work in a multidisciplinary, international environment
• Interest in R&D, including data analysis and testing support

Required skills

• Mechanical design: components, assemblies and optimisation for performance and reliability
• CAD proficiency for 2D/3D modelling and technical drawings
• Project management basics: task planning, progress tracking and cross-functional collaboration
• Familiarity with industry standards and basic manufacturing processes is an advantage
