Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Sousse office, supporting a leading architecture and engineering firm with 25 years of experience. The role focuses on HVAC mechanical equipment design, fabrication, and installation for a variety of construction projects, ranging from small residential works to large industrial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, fabricate, and install HVAC mechanical equipment to meet client requirements.
• Consult on HVAC system and equipment design, collaborating with engineers, project managers, and construction professionals.
• Develop and oversee Clean Room design, computer modeling, manufacturing methods, fabrication, testing, and implementation.
• Analyze HVAC systems to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and optimize performance.
• Design testing procedures and control equipment to assess products and recommend modifications.
• Communicate directly with customers to define project goals, specifications, and feasibility.
• Prepare detailed bids outlining costs and timelines for construction or extraction projects.
• Lead project teams, coordinating managers, engineers, drafters, and manufacturing personnel throughout all phases.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with experience in the HVAC engineering industry.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience managing building projects, preferably industrial.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
• Willingness to travel for business trips and a valid driving licence.

Required skills

• HVAC system design and analysis.
• Clean Room design.
• 3D modeling (AutoCAD, Revit).
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.
