Material Planning Supervisor – Supply Chain

About the role

Autoliv is seeking a Material Planning Supervisor to lead the planning and coordination of production and non‑production materials. You will ensure material availability, support cost‑effective logistics, and drive continuous improvement in supply planning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage materials using MRP, demand forecasts, and production schedules.
• Review, release, and adjust supply plans based on demand changes and inventory levels.
• Monitor material availability to guarantee uninterrupted production.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align material supply with production needs.
• Maintain inventory levels in line with company targets and turnover objectives.
• Identify and mitigate material shortages, excess stock, and slow‑moving inventory.
• Follow up on supplier deliveries and resolve supply‑related issues.
• Coordinate shipment plans with suppliers and warehouse teams for efficient material flow.
• Support initiatives to reduce logistics costs and premium freight.
• Drive continuous improvement in supply planning and inventory control processes.
• Participate in material readiness reviews and engineering change implementation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Material Planner, Logistics Engineer, or similar supply‑chain role.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Leadership experience managing or coordinating teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, demanding environment.
• Fluent in English and French.
