Material Planning Supervisor

About the role

Autoliv is seeking a Material Planning Supervisor to ensure uninterrupted production of safety-critical components such as seatbelts, airbags, and steering wheels. You will lead material planning activities, align supply with demand, and support continuous improvement in logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage production and non‑production materials using MRP, demand forecasts, and production schedules.
• Review, release, and adjust supply plans according to demand changes and inventory levels.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to meet production requirements.
• Maintain inventory levels in line with company targets and turnover objectives.
• Identify and mitigate material shortages, excess stock, and slow‑moving inventory.
• Follow up on supplier deliveries, resolve supply‑related issues, and coordinate shipment plans with suppliers and warehouse teams.
• Support initiatives to reduce logistics costs and premium freight.
• Drive continuous improvement in supply planning and inventory control processes.
• Participate in material readiness reviews and engineering change implementation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Material Planner, Logistics Engineer, or similar supply‑chain role.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, demanding environment.
• Fluent in English and French.
