Material Planner Supervisor

About the role

Versigent is looking for a Material Planner Supervisor to coordinate and oversee material supply operations. You will ensure that production plans are met on time, with the right quality and cost efficiency, while supporting a fast‑moving, high‑tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of supply planners, allocating workload based on SKU count and supplier mix.
• Define, monitor, and adjust the supply schedule to meet material requirements.
• Track supplier performance and mitigate potential delays.
• Maintain optimal raw‑material inventory levels to avoid stockouts and production stoppages.
• Analyze weekly safety‑stock issues and initiate corrective actions.
• Communicate critical supply issues to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality departments on key performance indicators.
• Improve processes and tools for raw‑material management and information flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of logistics or supply‑chain experience, including material planning.
• Previous managerial experience.
• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
