About the role

The Manufacturing Manager will lead the plant’s production activities, ensuring quality, efficiency, productivity, delivery deadlines and cost control for a highly specialised, craftsmanship‑intensive manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate production activities to meet agreed volumes, quality standards and delivery deadlines.
• Define and monitor production schedules based on orders, forecasts and capacity, optimising resource use.
• Manage department managers and operational staff to achieve productivity targets.
• Monitor performance indicators, identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Ensure compliance with automotive industry quality standards, especially leather cutting and processing.
• Contribute to industrial cost control, waste reduction and optimisation of materials, equipment and labour.
• Maintain health and safety standards and collaborate with Quality, Logistics, Purchasing and Maintenance functions.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in production management within structured manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to manage large workforces and high production volumes.
• Leadership and people‑management skills in multicultural settings.
• Fluent English; Italian or French a plus.

What we offer

• Annual fixed salary €100,000‑€110,000 plus 20% MBO.
