Maintenance Supervisor – Production Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the reliability, availability and optimal performance of production equipment and facilities. The role is essential for supporting operational excellence by leading maintenance activities, coordinating preventive and corrective interventions and minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee reception, installation, commissioning and hand‑over of new machines and equipment.
• Maintain standardisation, cleanliness and professional presentation of machines, workstations and maintenance areas.
• Guarantee machine availability, including backup equipment, in line with daily production planning.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, validate interventions and ensure sustained equipment reliability.
• Analyse breakdowns, production stoppages and recurring faults; implement corrective and root‑cause actions.
• Monitor spare‑parts consumption, control abnormal usage and meet cost and inventory targets.
• Lead, train, coach and evaluate maintenance technicians and support operator training.
• Coordinate preventive‑maintenance planning with cross‑functional teams and keep maintenance systems and documentation up to date.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and internal procedures; prepare for audits and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Higher Technician diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Solid technical knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance processes and troubleshooting.
• Fluent English and ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and customer‑oriented mindset.
