Machine Operator

About the role
We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team at Pursuit Aerospace in Megrine. The role involves operating CNC and EDM equipment on hybrid (12‑hour) and second/third shift (8‑hour) schedules, ensuring precision‑machined aerospace components meet our high quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC and/or EDM machines.
- Perform in‑process quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges and indicators.
- Follow all quality assurance and safety procedures.
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance, cleaning and material restocking.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality output.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Self‑motivated, dependable and able to work the required shift.
Required skills
- CNC machine operation.
- EDM machine operation.
- Precision measuring with micrometers, calipers, height gauges and indicators.
- Polishing (preferred).
- Basic machine maintenance.
