Local Compliance Officer – Production Site

About the role

The Local Compliance Officer will ensure that the Bir Drassen production site operates in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and company standards. Reporting to the Country General Manager and working closely with Global Compliance, the role promotes a culture of integrity, transparency and ethical behaviour at the site level.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary compliance contact for the production site.
• Support implementation and adherence to corporate compliance policies, standards and procedures.
• Monitor compliance risks and coordinate mitigation actions with site management.
• Roll out and localise compliance‑related policies such as Code of Conduct, anti‑corruption, data protection and conflict of interest.
• Promote compliance awareness and ethical behaviour across the site.
• Coordinate and support compliance‑related training, track completion and maintain documentation.
• Identify and assess site‑specific compliance risks and assist in handling incidents.
• Support internal and external audits, provide required documentation and follow up on corrective actions.
• Collaborate with HR, Quality, EHS and other functions, and maintain alignment with Global/Regional Compliance.
