Legal, Risk & Compliance Lead

About the role

The Legal, Risk & Compliance Lead is a strategic leadership position at Vneuron, a fast‑growing RegTech company. You will shape the company’s legal and compliance strategy, guide high‑stakes regulatory decisions and act as the primary liaison with authorities, clients and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive a group‑wide compliance and risk strategy, identifying high‑impact risks and maintaining an up‑to‑date risk map.
• Design, evolve and oversee internal compliance tools, controls and policies.
• Lead national and international regulatory monitoring, anticipate regulatory changes and propose adaptation plans.
• Manage relationships with regulatory authorities as the company’s main contact.
• Build and present compliance and risk reporting for executive governance bodies.
• Chair or co‑lead governance, risk and compliance committees, ensuring traceability of activities.
• Provide legal and contractual advisory on tenders, RFPs and RFIs, and support contract negotiations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in legal, risk and compliance leadership within a regulated or RegTech environment.
• Strong understanding of AML, sanctions screening and financial‑crime regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to develop and implement compliance policies, internal controls and risk‑management processes.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with regulators, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset with a track record of influencing high‑level decisions.
