Launch Manager

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Launch Manager to lead the plant‑level execution of automotive wiring system projects from early development (GW20) through full production (GW70). You will act as the voice of the plant, ensuring alignment between local interests and global project goals while driving successful product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all project meetings and coordinate plant‑specific tasks (GW20‑GW70).
• Set up and lead the launch team, planning resources and holding regular meetings.
• Report work‑package status to the Project Manager using project‑management software and prepare documentation for milestones and gate reviews.
• Manage PAM releases, track Capex usage, and update equipment planning.
• Plan and coordinate sample production (A, B, C, D) and develop operational concepts.
• Create detailed ramp‑up plans, run @rate tests, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor plant KPIs (costs, quality, delivery) and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify risks and opportunities, implement mitigation measures, and share lessons learned.
• Support central teams with updates to standard processes.

Required profile

• University degree (any discipline).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination, wiring systems, or related automotive manufacturing functions.
• Fluent in French and English.
