Junior Script Writer / Copy Writer (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is looking for a Junior Script Writer / Copy Writer to join a pool of Non‑Key Experts supporting a EU communication outreach project across North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role is short‑term and on‑demand, focusing on creating high‑quality written content that enhances the visibility of EU policies.

Key responsibilities

• Draft engaging content for websites, newsletters, articles, press releases and social media.
• Write scripts for videos, podcasts, interviews and other audio‑visual products.
• Develop campaign messages and storytelling tailored to diverse audiences.
• Edit and proofread materials to ensure clarity, consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with communication specialists, graphic designers and AV teams to produce integrated outputs.
• Adapt content for digital platforms while complying with EU editorial guidelines.
• Support the preparation of speeches, briefing notes, key messages and promotional materials.
• Contribute to communication campaigns and outreach activities.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communication or languages.
• Excellent written English; French and/or Arabic are an asset.
• At least 2 years of general experience in copywriting or journalistic writing.
• Minimum 1 year of specific experience drafting communication content such as articles, scripts or social posts.
