Junior Mechanical Engineer – Automotive Projects

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join its automotive engineering team. You will support new study projects and help integrate functions and components within complete vehicle environments, gaining exposure to the full product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own component or system lifecycle from concept through production launch, meeting cost, timing and quality targets.
• Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components.
• Conduct basic engineering analyses to support design decisions.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for build issues or failures and author engineering change orders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Follow industry standards and company guidelines throughout the design process.
• Participate in project reviews and contribute to technical discussions.

Required profile

• Engineer degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
• Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
