Java Technical Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Java Technical Lead to drive the development of our RegTech platform, Reis RCS. In this role you will mentor a talented engineering team, shape architectural decisions and deliver high‑quality features that help combat financial crime.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the development team on technical matters.
• Guide the team through complex technical challenges and architectural decisions.
• Contribute to technology choices, solution design, and implementation of new functionalities.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to modern development best practices.
• Plan workloads, schedules and effort estimations.
• Promote continuous improvement of engineering practices and processes.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Support the growth of junior engineers and participate in technical interviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java/JEE development.
• Strong expertise in Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience with modern front‑end technologies, especially Angular and TypeScript.
• Good knowledge of Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL.
• Solid computer‑science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, software design and distributed systems.
• Comfortable using AI tools to enhance development workflows.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and guide a team.
