Independent Sales Agent – Photocopy Paper & Stationery (North Africa)

About the role

An experienced independent sales agent or registered agency is sought to represent a portfolio of photocopy paper, stationery and related products across Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. The role suits an established sales professional or agency with a strong understanding of North African markets, an existing network of distributors and buyers, and proven experience in international trade and distribution. It is a remote, commission-only engagement with no fixed salary or employee benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the product portfolio across the three countries
• Identify and engage distributors, wholesalers, retailers and key accounts
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with buyers and strategic accounts
• Map the market, analyse competitors and assess growth opportunities
• Manage the sales pipeline and pursue qualified opportunities
• Submit sales progress reports every two weeks
• Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows and industry events
• Coordinate orders with procurement, logistics, finance and operations, and advise on import and customs procedures
• Coordinate sub-agents and channel partners where applicable

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional sales experience (7-10 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of photocopy paper, stationery or comparable distribution industries
• Good understanding of Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria markets
• Established network of buyers, wholesalers or distributors in the region
• Fluency in French and English; Arabic is a strong advantage
• Willingness to travel across the three countries as required

The engagement is governed by an independent agency or contractor agreement, with commission terms and territory allocation defined in the contract. Support is provided by the company's international team.
