About the role

Join STMicroelectronics as a HW Component Database Intern within the 2026 Apprenticeship Program. You will support the management and continuous improvement of the electronic hardware component database, ensuring designers and project teams have reliable, up‑to‑date information.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enrich component records in the central database.
• Collect, verify, and consolidate technical data from internal and external sources.
• Support component validation against technical requirements, certifications, and trade‑compliance rules.
• Validate reusable, equivalent, or alternate parts to optimise the component library.
• Collaborate with designers, library experts, industrialisation, and production teams.
• Analyse component usage, lifecycle status, and availability to aid decision‑making.
• Contribute to improving database quality, structure, and workflows.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of electronic components and a basic understanding of hardware design.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a cross‑functional environment.
• Business‑level proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Excel automation with VBA.
• Python programming for data handling.
