Human Resources Director – Tunisia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead our HR function in Tunisia. Reporting to the General Manager and partnering with regional and global leaders, you will shape people strategy, support business growth and drive a high-performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the local HR strategy aligned with global objectives.
• Act as a strategic advisor to the General Manager and senior leadership on all people matters.
• Oversee Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Employee Relations and Organizational Development.
• Design workforce planning, succession planning, talent management and leadership development programs.
• Lead organizational transformation, change management and digital HR initiatives, including HRIS optimisation and process automation.
• Ensure compliance with Tunisian labour legislation and corporate governance.
• Manage HR budget, KPIs, analytics and people dashboards to enable data-driven decisions.
• Promote Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, employee well‑being and a collaborative culture.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Law or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting; automotive background is a strong advantage.
• Deep knowledge of Tunisian labour law and HR best practices.
• Strong business acumen and ability to partner with senior leaders.
