Hospital Project Director – Construction (Algeria)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Project Director to lead the construction of a new hospital in Zeralda, Algeria. Reporting to senior management in Doha, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring the programme stays on schedule, within budget and meets quality standards. The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Chair on‑site progress meetings and provide regular reports to management.
• Analyse contractor performance against the master schedule and produce weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Collaborate closely with the supervision consultant to resolve technical issues.
• Manage project integration, scope, time, cost, human resources, quality, communication and risk throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international construction standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to align project objectives.

Required profile

• Degree or Master’s in Civil Engineering.
• 15–20 years of experience delivering hospital construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage timelines and achieve key performance indicators.
• Strong people‑management and knowledge‑sharing capabilities.
• Effective communication in a multilingual environment.
