Health, Safety, Environment & Energy Expert

About the role

LEONI is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Environment & Energy (HSEE) Expert to implement site strategies, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and drive continuous improvement across its Tunisian operations. You will act as a key liaison between management and operational teams, fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the HSEE site strategy and prepare internal release instructions.
• Consolidate, monitor, and report on site HSEE KPIs.
• Organize waste management, recycling programs, and ensure compliance with legal safety and environmental permits.
• Conduct trainings, develop emergency plans, and lead internal audits of safety and environmental systems.
• Investigate incidents, report findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and execute safety inspections, ergonomic assessments, risk assessments, and safety drills.
• Authorize production stoppages when unsafe conditions are identified.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+5) in a technical or scientific discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE or a related field.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong communication, change‑management, and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
