Head of Production – Hammamet Plant

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Production to lead the manufacturing operations at our Hammamet plant in Tunisia. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management to ensure the site delivers high‑quality products on time, within cost targets, and with continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for production performance, meeting quality, cost, delivery and efficiency standards.
• Define, monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with global standards.
• Lead disciplinary and technical management of the local production team.
• Develop and train local managers and employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Coordinate capacity and staffing planning with HR and business units.
• Implement HR measures such as performance reviews and organizational changes.
• Shape the production strategy for Tunisia in partnership with Business Unit management and the General Manager.
• Plan and execute improvement, restructuring and efficiency programmes.
• Establish sustainable structures and processes for long‑term competitive production.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain and Sales functions.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical, Production, Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• 8‑10+ years of production experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record in large‑scale manufacturing environments, preferably automotive.
• Strong leadership and documented management experience in matrix and international settings.
• Fluent English (mandatory) and ability to work across cultures.
