General Ledger Accountant (Bilingual French/English)

About the role
Free2move’s Shared Services Center in Tunisia is looking for a General Ledger Accountant who will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the financial records of one or more legal entities. The role reports to the Group Head of Accounting and works closely with the AP, AR, Treasury, Tax, FP&A and Controlling teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the monthly and annual hard‑close process within Group deadlines.
- Prepare, review and post inventory adjustments, provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses and deferred income.
- Review and post closing entries related to payroll, taxes, depreciation and other accounting adjustments.
- Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate and resolve outstanding items.
- Collaborate with Management Controllers to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
Required profile
- Ability to work autonomously with a high level of ownership.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
