Freight Coordinator – Shipment & Logistics

About the role

Vantive is seeking a Freight Coordinator to manage the end‑to‑end shipment process for its vital organ therapy products. The role involves planning, booking, and monitoring transports while ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule transportation of goods, selecting optimal routes and modes (trucking, air, sea).
• Book shipments with carriers and coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, freight forwarders and customers.
• Monitor shipment progress, track delays or disruptions, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists and customs paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, company policies and international shipping rules.
• Control freight costs, verify invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot logistics issues, develop contingency plans for urgent shipments and handle claims or damages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration.
• 0–2 years of experience in freight, logistics or supply chain roles.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping regulations (preferred).

Required skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., GME, JDE) and transportation management system (TMS) tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
