Financial Planning Manager

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and review the monthly full P&L and operational KPIs across multiple business entities; support the preparation of accurate financial reports for the Board; translate performance into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting cycles; perform variance and gap analysis; partner with business stakeholders to ensure financial plans align with operational objectives.
• Analyze profitability by business line and project; identify margin drivers, risks, and opportunities; provide financial insight to support strategic and operational decision‑making.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain healthy working capital; oversee invoicing processes to ensure timely and accurate billing; ensure appropriate financial controls for project provisions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, simplification, and standardisation of financial processes; drive initiatives for faster closing cycles, data accuracy, materiality thresholds and deadline adherence; promote best practices and a strong culture of accountability.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or External Audit, with significant experience in structuring and improving financial processes.
• Experience in engineering, consulting, IT services, or a similar project‑based environment is a strong plus.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Strong knowledge of financial modelling, accounting principles, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI and ERP tools is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.
