Finance Manager

About the role

Syntys, a leading data‑center provider in the MENA region, is launching a new data‑center platform in Tunisia. We are looking for a hands‑on Finance Manager to build and lead the finance function for our Tunisian entities from day one, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate IFRS reporting, and effective project cost and cash‑flow oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the in‑country finance function and serve as the primary liaison with Group Finance.
• Establish finance processes, internal controls, and reporting frameworks aligned with IFRS and group governance.
• Implement the group chart of accounts, reporting packs, and month‑end close procedures.
• Manage general ledger activities, intercompany accounting, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support legal entity setup, regulatory registrations, and local compliance.
• Set up local banking arrangements and coordinate treasury activities.
• Develop cash‑flow forecasts, lead budgeting and periodic forecasts, and track capex for construction and infrastructure.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register, construction‑in‑progress schedules, and ensure tax, VAT, and statutory filings are accurate and timely.
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and authorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience establishing finance functions for capital‑intensive projects.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, group reporting, and internal controls.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑growing, international environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
