Finance & Cost Controlling Manager (Tunis)

About the role

Knauf is seeking a Finance & Cost Controlling Manager to join its Tunisian team at the Lac 3 industrial zone. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead financial reporting, cost analysis, budgeting, and ensure compliance with local GAAP and HGB standards, driving transparency and operational performance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer balances, produce reporting dashboards, enforce credit limits, and chair periodic credit review meetings.
• Analyze monthly production costs, deliver variance analyses for raw materials, energy and other cost lines, and support corrective action plans.
• Supervise the monthly closing process and lead the annual close under local GAAP and HGB, coordinating with statutory auditors.
• Participate actively in the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly forecasting, providing reliable documentation and insights.
• Ensure full compliance with local and HGB accounting standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Proven track record of delivering financial results in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience working with local GAAP and German HGB accounting standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
