Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging Systems

About the role

As a Field Service Engineer you will support customers by installing, maintaining, and restoring medical imaging equipment such as MRI and CT scanners within your assigned region. You will act as the technical liaison between GE Healthcare and healthcare providers, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers during the installation of new medical imaging systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the installed base.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using established procedures.
• Escalate complex problems to senior team members or supervisors.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with customers throughout service interactions.

Required profile

• Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanics or Biomedical Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance or similar technical field.
• Strong systematic approach to problem solving and ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Proficient English language skills.
