Embedded Software Technical Lead – Tunisia

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Technical Lead to drive the technical direction of our embedded projects in Tunisia. You will lead a team of engineers, ensure high‑quality software delivery, and collaborate across our international sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direct supervision of a team of embedded software engineers.
• Plan resources, forecast capacity and set goals for multiple projects across locations.
• Own project outcomes, including delivery timelines, quality targets and technical debt management.
• Conduct performance reviews, support career development and enforce company policies.
• Coordinate with all embeX sites to align technical approaches and maintain consistent engineering standards.
• Prepare and deliver technical and organizational reports for engineering teams, management and clients.
• Track KPIs related to software quality, defect density and team engagement.

Required profile

• Degree in Embedded Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in embedded software development on microcontrollers.
• Proven experience leading technical teams or acting as a principal engineer.
• Ability to translate business and system requirements into robust, scalable software architectures.

Required skills

• C and C++ programming.
• Microcontroller platforms such as STM32 and ARM Cortex‑M.
• Version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Build tools (CMake, Make).
• CI/CD pipeline concepts.
