Electrician – Maintenance & Guest Services

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Electrician to join our facilities team in Tunis. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all building systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines; carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed.
• Document daily activities and issues for shift hand‑over using approved communication standards.
• Execute basic repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems, including lamp replacement, switch/outlet changes, and TV programming.
• Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs, and clean work areas thoroughly.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Carry out interior and exterior landscaping repairs and sprinkler maintenance.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb unaided.
• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls, carpentry, and painting.
• Strong communication skills with guests and team members.
• Commitment to safety policies, reporting hazards, and completing required training.
• Professional appearance and respect for confidentiality.
