Electrical Technical Designers (Junior & Experienced)

About the role

EnerconsTN, an engineering company in Monastir, Tunisia working closely with a German electrical engineering office, is hiring two Electrical Technical Designers for its engineering team. The company covers electrical power distribution, energy systems and instrumentation and control for industrial, infrastructure and renewable energy projects. The positions are full-time, with CDI, SIVP or Contrat Al Karama contracts, hybrid work, and require English at B2 level (German is a plus).

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify and update electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare electrical installation plans, cable routing layouts and switchgear arrangement drawings.
• Create and maintain 2D technical drawings and 3D BIM models.
• Support the design and documentation of medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution systems.
• Prepare and update electrical schematics and single-line diagrams.
• Coordinate electrical installations with other engineering disciplines and review drawings for quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the German engineering team on international projects and take part in basic and detailed engineering.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Understanding of electrical installations, cable routing and technical drawing principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and engineering specifications.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• English at B2 level or higher; German is an advantage.
• Recent graduates and experienced professionals are both welcome.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit.
• Advantageous: experience with industrial electrical installations or power distribution projects.
• Advantageous: familiarity with BIM workflows, EPLAN, DIALux or other electrical software, and switchgear layout design.
• Advantageous: experience on German or international engineering projects.
